Blue Lightning?

I was looking for F250's actually when I came across this.
What makes me think it isn't a real lightning is at least two things. 1) No pics of the engine, and 2) No L build number.
His description may be taken to say that it was repainted due to an accident, but it is sooo vague. (as well as poorly written)
Of course I could be wrong, but something just doesn't seem right to me.
So out of curiousity, is this guy full of crap or not?

Ya, that's real. Not sure if you know this, but True Blue L's were only made in 2002 so you don't see them as often.

Since the use of the English language leaves much to be desired, and the statement for immediate wire transfer of funds, and the fact that the price is too good too be true, I would be suspicious of the ad. I receive scams on a vehicle I have listed on a classified forum on a VW site on a regular basis which I forward on the the U.S. Treasury. They always display poor use of the English language, need transfer of funds and are ready to buy right away with no further discussion of the vehicle. This may be a legitimate auction but it sure smells fishy from my experience on the 'net. If I were you I would want further confirmation of the actual vehicle and the person selling same. BTW, I located my 02 True Blue Lightning via the internet but had many converstaions with the owner via telephone and e-mail before I made the trip to purchase.

If I am the winning bidder can I just meet you in Pharr, TX (I am currently in Dallas) with a cachier's check? We can go to your bank and you can verify the cashier's check and we can have the transfer of title notarized there.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

We'll see if they respond to the e-mail sent...
