Best Nitrous Kit

I want a 50 Hp shot for my 01 and want to know what is the best kit. I do not intend to need much more than a 75hp shot ever. I mainly want it for the cooling effect in the summer and it will only be used at the track.

Best = easiest and cleanest installation, reliable and easy to use.

I've been looking at their wet kit as it does appear (claim) like it is an easy install and does away with some components. I would like someone who has installed it and run it for a while to chime in to verify it's performance, etc.

ZEX WET BABY,
THE ONLY WAY TO GO

Only 4 wires to hook up,
Everything is contained in the most preeeeeeety Purple
Control Unit, it activated by voltage from the factory TPS,
it's never backfired or puddled gas, and it has the most
preeeeeeeeety purple nitrous bottle

Could you drill and tap the intake manifold rather than use the rubber boot? I have a JL Thunder Pipe and it is fiberglass and I would rather put it in the manifold. Also what is the ZEX part# of the kit you used?

Yes, many drill the Manifold, but there's no need to.
You can't beat Sal's PSP Nitrous Plate.

The Zex WET Kits Numbers are
#82021 55-75 HP
or
#82023 75-125 HP
They're both the identical kit with just 3 differant sets of jets.

Lots of Info on the internet on Zex, and the prices vary,
I bought mine from REM at a great price

Rob, you dyno with your Zex kit ever? I'm curious to see what the air fuel ratios are as I've heard the Zex wet kit dumps a lot of fuel.

I know someone who is getting on the bottle pretty soon and will be dynoing to make sure everything is peachy.

Well it depends when you are spraying. It's not losing 10 horsepower that I'm worried about. It is the risk of running too rich. Nitrous backfires are not pretty...

You got that right Cyntax.....fuel injected vehicles have no power valves or burst panels ....so the risk would be more significant.....
