The 112 will go to 18# of boost, that its design, thats it...you could overspin it like I do my Eaton with an 8# and 2.5# but I think that the law of diminishing returns will apply....after researching this I decided that the KB was a much better choice....it has the same rotor packs as a 140 and its about 1000 less....

Where did you get your information?

The KB doesnt use the 140's rotor packs because first of all the 140 is a Whipple and secondly its a twin screw. Im sure Dustin Whipple would be a little upset if he found out Autorotor was using his parts in their blowers.

You get a lot more for the $1000 more when comparing a 140 to a KB. Intake comes to mind for one.

I'm wondering what else you get? I see all these guys making some pretty big HP with the KB, but still no #'s for all the works 140's which have shipped...or have they?

theres been numbers posted but i think only a few have the abilities to post big numbers, theres probaly close to 500 people with a KB and probally less than 20 with a works.
the works should me a powerhouse as it is everything the KB is and more.

Works are hand built units as been repeated many times. They have a larger cubic inch housing, more volume and produce more power. The intakes are custom cast and smooooooth. The people who have waited and purchased the Works 140's are building their motors. More serious #'s will be coming from the Works.

I thought the KB and the works had the same rotor packs..guess not....I put my KB next to a works 140 on a level floor and their compressor dimensions weree the same...the only difference was clearly the inlet which as a rear feed adds to its efficiency and cubic displacement....the KB is 2.2 litrs (134 cubic inches) and the 140 is 140 cubic inches....6 more cubic inches for 1200.00 more than I paid for my KB....thats 200.00 per cubic inch extra for the 140...if it was a 201 cubic inch works It would of justified the price and as for customer service I hear KB is excellent..

KB has the worse C/S in the blower industry. I guess you havent done your research.

Secondly im not going to go into specifics about a KB vs Works, this has been covered and got quite ugly.

Theres more then CUI that make the two different. If youre that serious about having a pro mod lightning, you picked the wrong blower sir.

theres no way the KB will even touch the 140, i bet the WP 112 would even horse the KB until 18#

Pauls 112 at 18# made 418 and 520 tq.....my eaton 17 psi combo made 388 and 620 and w/ alcohol injection will make 420 and 670.....proof is in the pudding....Im not hear to bet anyone, Im just trying to help everyone make the best choice possible...Im not disputing that the 140 is a bad blower Im just tryng to justify the price....Id like to see numbers on both at the same boost levels with similar tunes...not to mention the tuning on these built motors w/ bigger blowers s____! I still havent got my truck tuned right for the past 4 months since I put the built motor in....

How fast is your Lightning ****?

You are more than welcome to debate the "Blower wars" when you are one of the playa's Kid, but until then, take your 12 sec ride and your lack of real knowledge back to cali and play with the ***** on the back of your truck.

Do you have any idea how Gay having ***** hanging from your hitch makes you look? LOL

And if your gonna attack me and what you think is my lack of knowledge, just keep in mind that my truck can come out to cali and whoop your A$$ up and down your local track all day long.. without ever running over 12lbs of boost kid.

YOU HAVE BEEN OWNED OVER AND OVER AGAIN KID(your just too dumb to know it)
