Need help with plug choice

What would you all suggest I go with for a 6#er, a Fastair kit and a chip?

Chip will be the autologic one.

Let's hear those opinions!

Thanks

Jack

I would ask your tuner to get his opinion. I would recommend the NGK TR6s. Just my .02.

NGK BR7EFs or Denso IT24s for that much extra boost.

I'm going to go with the TR6's with my 3# pulley.Just not looking forward to changing them. And me being only 5'5" is not going to help out.

TR6's gapped at .034. You'll like it. I have a 6lb lower, 2lb upper and I use TR6's gapped at .032 and I get a really smooth idle and plenty of power. The guy that built my engine recommended taking off .001 gap per extra pound of boost and it really did make a difference in the way it idles.

what would be the deciding factor between the TR6s and the BR7EFs????

I have apparently (Ihope that's all it is) fried my Iridium IT22s.

I run 14lbs of boost on a good day, have JLP airbox, Diablo
chip and my best is 12.31@110 w/1.71 60ft on ET streets.

12.53@109 on Nittos w/1.77 60ft.

Last night I tried my home-made intercooler sprayer.
It was about 84*85% humidity.

first pass, hot 12.90@105 on Nittos 1.8 60ft.
next pass cooled for an hour, fogged intercooler for
about 12 seconds after burnout...12.67@106 w/1.75 60ft, but
started pinging a little over half way down.

I detected slight....slight miss.....ran again.......
12.9@100mph....pinging....stayed in it like a dumb @ss.
missing real bad now, dead miss....smells rich.

I need to either go to IT24s, with slight de-tune of chip, or
switch plug strategy?????? NGKs??????

The sprayer definately made something cooler, to ping
that bad.....I hope I didn't mess truck up...hoping
a plug change will fix, but tired of the $150 plug changes.

I love Iridiums and believe in them, maybe just my overboosted
pinging fault????? If the IT24s will cure and if JLP slightly
detunes my chip.....I might be OK.

thanks guys...
