Do you recheck studs at all, say after 1000 or so miles....or should I just run with it and put the 22.5# KB on and let her rip....Im jut trying to make sure everything is right before I put real power to her......

I have yet to re-check the studs...I can't see them loosening, to be honest.

For the hell of it, when my valve covers come in I will re-check/re-torque them. I don't think it's neccessary...but I will do it as a result of this thread.

Sooo, I think you're good. I'm running 19psi now with a 175 shot. If they are going to go, I don't think they'll wait.

At this power level, I think it's prudent to just plan on replacing head gaskets....that way you're not pissed if you have to, and pleasantly surprised if you don't.

Personally, launching plugs worries me more than anything.
