Anyone done CRAZY custom body work to their L??

I was BS'ing with my bud the other day (he is painting some parts for me) and he came up with some wild ideas. We discussed doing very sublte yet totally wild things like a 1 or 2 inch chop, frenched lights, custom tail gates/rear decks.

I don't think I have the heart to cut my L, but it really got me thinking, and there is no one else in the world that I would want doing the work besides this guy. He has a great respect for the history of hot rodding, as well as modern metal work, and has had his stuff in the Detroit Auto show...in other words, I have faith that he would do perfect work!

I was hoping if someone had done similar work, pictures might sway me one way or the other!

There is a red '99 that's been very customized. I believe a 3" chop top, swing-out brake light with the fuel cap behind it, etc. I'll see if I can find pictures.

Brian...I think you just got me into MAJOR trouble dude! I'm actually shaking right now! I think the only way that could look better is on a black truck...which I happen to have!!! That may be this winters project if the cash flow stays the same as it is now!! I LOVE IT!
