I dont like that setup simply because its only 10hz on the read back to the laptop and it also lacks the needed datalogging abilities and updates that FJO unit has. If you want something simply, this is an ok kit. However, if you really want a A/F measurment for tuning per 50 rpm increments, you cant beat the FJO kit.
Also, they use the NGK sensor,which is only good to 1472F degrees.

Labor
Well you have two choices:
1) have the bung welded in. My exhaust shop knows me and charged me $50 for the bungs and welding.
2) buy a unit that will simulate a narrow O2 sensor. The wbo2 unit does this, and I think almost all of the widebands support it. That way you only need one sensor.

$50 doesn't sound bad at all. And I assume the sensor isn't that expensive. I really want that FJO but it's $$$. And I dunno if I have the skills necessary to assemble one myself through one of those kits.

Optimal is of course temp/WB per cylinder, but that's not practical/possible/desired for regular use.

Is there a way you can join 1 O2 sensor to both banks,...or even to have a bung welded on each header each with an O2 sensor prewired to a 2 way switch thats in your cab...that way with the flick of a switch, you can read either the right or left bank from the inside of your cab....

If you want to try it yourself, I'd suggest you pick up some stuff from Radio Shack and mess around with the boards/diodes/capacitors/etc. just to get some practice before attempting it.
