first time in the 1/4 what times should i see???

ok, after realizing how bad jax raceways is, and how i could only pull of 2.6 60ft on F1's, im deciding to make a road trip down to gainsville to run the truck in the 1/4 for the first time...what kind of times do you think i should be hitting....my mods are as followed................
-Volant Cold-Air intake
- 2 psi upper pulley
-shift kit
-diablo sport chip

and i will also be running a pair of hoosier slicks that a friend of mine will lend me...ALSO... people are saying take out the spare tire, and the hard cover on the back for weight, and also add in a gallon or two of 100 octane...and other little secrets that will help me pull of a great ET??? i have a 50 shot of spay that i might be willing to hook up

This hot weather - 13.5s... If you REALLY ice things down, 13.2s - MAYBE.

Heat is a killer right now. That spray will help a bit as well...

Cool

If your gonna run slicks? Then I'd go for removing as much mass as you can and do the small spray. Don't get your hopes up for 12s in the summer though. It ain't gonna happen in the daytime heat.

I sincerely hope you're getting yourself a driveshaft loop before mounting them slicks...............Besides being a SAFETY MUST, track officials will most likely NOT let you run with slicks and no driveshaft loop.

If you do install your Nitrous kit, do yourself a favor and get at the very least 2-3 runs in without the spray so you can practice your launch techniques, and realize the full potential of your truck, this goes whether or not you run your slicks or your F1's.

If you're going with your Bald F1's, I would recommend you NOT spray it..................getting squirrely at 70+mph can be a TAD scary halfway down the track.

Good luck man....................JC

If you didn't take it off already, the hitch is close to 60lbs...

DAMN!

Chief:

Just go run it, get a decent 60 (in the 2.0XX range) AND TELL US how it runs. Based on your previus posts, WHO KNOWS?

I never would have guessed "15.0 @ 96" the last time, after all.

We don't know who your chip tuner is and what type of tune you are running. Full-on race? Towing? Valet? With a tough-azz burn and a tank of Turbo Blue, maybe 12.8. With a softie tune, perhaps as slow as 14.2. If the weather is 50 degrees F and no humidity, perhaps 12.8. In the middle of a 100-degree downpour, maybe 14.2. Let us know how it goes and we'll critique!

I'm assuming you are not burned for the juice, so you'll probably blow it up if you spray.

Please just go run, nail a good launch, and post. Please.

Haha, those were yours?

I like them a lot. Might keep them a little bit longer until my new exhaust plans fully solidify (at least the funds to purchase them )

Small world eh? hehehehe

YUP!

Cost me 8 bucks to dispose of those damn things, too. You chipped in a hundy, ran me 16 dollars gas in the 'Prix and a 92 dollar alternator (blew up in Indy) to get those things to Bob.

Well worth it, though, to get those 350-dollar bellowing POS out of my basement.

They do sound boss as a ***** at WOT though, don't they?
