Damn!
Don't apologize to me, Chief - I'm the one who just publically bloodied you up, after all.
To summarize:
New track.
New tires, I suppose, based on recent posts.
Practice launching A LOT.
Don't waste your money on slicks (and necessary supporting hardware), nitrous, or cat-back.
If you're running up around 15 seconds with mods, there are a LOT more fundamental things to worry about first (see above and previous).

were cool, ive only had my truck about 2 months and havent experimented with it at the track yet, havent practiced launching or nothing...i have raced my dads E 55 AMG, and it hooks soo good! im just not used to this truck yet....so no cat back?? i had a post on here a lilttle while back, about cat-backs people were saying they are no good...on the website rpmoutlet.com they were proving 24hp and 25 tq.!! what should i get that may improve hp.. im also on a $400 budget....i have a Nitrous kit already just needs to be installed...i was considering it....but if something else will help hp more....i will consider that much more...
Advertising!
Chief:
Don't EVER trust ANY advertising claim ANYBODY makes quoting a specific horsepower gain.
Dig deep with the search function, plus contact some of the fast guys on this site with a pile of posts under their belt who are not students at Purdue University.
That should get you pointed right.

for the time being is there anything you would suggest that will lower my ET's within the 400 dollar range, i have all the smaller bolt ons i didnt know if there are some others that are worth having
Traction/Launch Technique
Based on the times you reported at the top of this thread, you can improve your quarter-mile time by almost two full seconds and around 5-10 MPH by running at a proper track with a proper launch, assuming that everything is indeed copacetic with your truck and mods. This will also cost somewhere between nothing and 400 dollars, depending on if you need new tires or not.
How much faster than that do you want to go? I gues that's the relevant issue.
