Vibration Problem....Help!!
Vibration Problem....Help!!
About 500 miles ago I really started noticing a vibration at around 65mph. I am running Nitto DR's in the back and they are getting worn. I have had them on for 6000 miles or so. I took the truck and got all 4 tires balanced and the problem is still there.
I really notice the vibration the most when I go around a curve, can anyone tell me what is causing this?? Is it the wearing DR's? I would really appreciate any help or advise you could give me regarding this...its getting really annoying.

I would not think it would be the exhaust...Its seems like it just started all of a sudden. Couldn't it just be that my DR's or getting worn....??

'Silver 2002', since getting all four tires re-balanced have you ever taken your truck off-road? or even put a wheel off the edge of the road while driving at speed?
I have a friend who drives a brand new 2003 Lancer Evo who had the exact same problem. When he took it to the dealer, they found that one of the weights balancing the tire had come loose.
Even though you got all four tires re-balanced, it's possible that if the workmanship was not up to par, one of the weights in a tire may have come lose. The fact that the 'vibration' worsens when going around a corner strengthens my hypothesis, as the wheels are turning at slightly different speeds (the front/rear differential tries to correct this, but there is still a slight difference in speed).
Good luck!
P.S. You also mentioned that your Nitto DR's are getting worn. Check the tires carefully to see if a tire on one axle is significantly worn more than the other (on the same axle). Also, check to see if any tire has been 'flat spotted'.
