Cylinder #3

I read in a thread on "Got Pressure" that with the stock exhaust manifolds there is a danger of No. 3 cylinder running lean due to restriction in the exhaust manifold and that this can be eliminated with shorty headers.

I have never heard or read anything about this before.

Anybody have any input as to the truth of the matter.

Yeh, for some reason no. 3 is half the size of any of the ports on exhaust manifold...I have heard of severe lean conditions, especially with nitrous because of this....the problem with installing shorties is that they take 2 times longer to put on than the long tubes.....
