That JJ guy is known for his lack of tuning abilities and trucks his chips have blown up and gone to JDM for repair. I believe there is one there now.

However, Jim offered a recourse to the guys issue, so now this thread should be locked because like every tuner thread, they go down the toilet.

The trans were in St. Louis . Now some of them are at BTS getting rebuilt because all six were take outs.
No sence in giving you a trans. that has to be rebuilt.

If you have the time give me a call at the shop tomorrow.

I can still help you out, but I am not going to give you junk.
I will let how I can help you out tomorrow.

Jim@JDM

You give me a call Jim. Everytime I call I cant get ahold of you. Keith

Can't we all just get monster boxes, built blocks, and a Works140/KB and call it a day? That would make everybody happy

I'm sorry to hear of your issues.

Let me say this I just spent 1-½ days with Jim and his team and I have never met a more knowledgeable team. With the help of JDM engineering I was able to reach my first goal. Jim and his team have done every thing they said they would for me. I was impressed to see trucks from Texas, South Carolina, and I was from Michigan. There were many trucks in and out in the 2 days I was there. Team JDM is definitely selling a great product and experience.
My degree is in business and I am in Ford management, I must say that along with good service a successful business owner must sell a good experience also.
JDM went out of their way to give me what I asked for and nothing more he did not sell me any thing I didn't ask for. I was able to see gains from all the modes that I have added this past winter.
An entrepreneur will encounter many situations in their endeavors all he can hope for is to please the majority of his patrons. There will always be issues in any business a person must learn to make the best of any bad situation.

My engine builder set my timing on my left bank off 3 links, which caused catastrophic failure and cost me my race season. I didn't sue him or plaster his name all over the world wide web I met with him and the owner of there firm and asked what they were going to do to fix our problem. They assumed full responsibility for their mistake and threw in extras. I am pleased to say not once did I have to raise my voice!

I traveled 7 hundred miles for the best and I feel I got it.

Please don't take this as a slam I mean no disrespect I am simply giving my 2 cents.

Peace, Suavy

The smartest team in the world is worthless unless they actually put that knowledge to use via customer service.

I get "--------" on my dash and my truck thinks Im stealin it when I put your chip in Jim.

But what if somebody takes close to 4800.00 dollars from you and they don't take responsability. My truck sat for over a year before I saved the money to buy another motor. I know there are plenty of people out there that JDM has treated great but guess what they ***** on me. Now before the flames I have not posted one bad thing about JDM since my first two post. just my 2 cents.

Michael,

I have not received anything from a lawyer regarding a Michael Jarrell so if I was you I would check with your lawyer. Secondly, I do know Michael Jarrell, when the first initial post was made I went back to the shop at ten o'clock at night and could not find anything. The reason being is the paper work was in a separate file in our bookkeeper's office. Michael Jarrell purchased a short block from us for $4695. He received the short block five weeks after he requested it. He kept the short block for seven months than shipped it back to us. When we received the short block it had been sitting outside for the whole seven months with the cover open. It had gobs of dirt in it, tons of rust. In fact, his short block still sits here the way it was sent back. So we looked into it, and even the trucking company that picked it up has it on record on the condition of the short block. His dad told me that they did not put the short block in because they were waiting for ported heads from us that they never asked for or payed for. So he will never receive a dime back from me because he destroyed the short block that he did receive. I believe he intentionally destroyed the short block. He had contacted Sal just after receiving his new motor from us and Sal had given him a cheaper price on the short block and heads. He figured he could use the internet to force me into taking the motor back, but when it did not go as planned he let the short block sit out in the rain and mud. Alot of this information was given back to me by my office staff and I spoke to Michaels Jerral's father personally.

Jim@JDM

PS- This will be the last time I discuss this matter online.

Michael Jarrell's first post, "hello, I see there is alot questions about vender bashing what if it is the truth. Is a true story that mentions a vender considered bashing. Let me point out, this happened to me not a freind. My name is Michael Jarrell and I live in Savannah Ga. I have a 2000 lightning that the motor blew up in. So I started looking for a company who offered a long block with the performance parts in it and ported heads. JDM Engineering was the first company I found that said they everything I wanted. So I gave them close $4800.00 for a long block with manley rods and pistons and ported heads. Six months later and at least 20 phone calls later i received a short block so I called and asked were are the heads, they're coming he said. Four months later after repeatedly calling and being lied to I sent the short block back and asked for my money back. It has been 18 months since I sent the money and guess what still no refund. I'm just writing this to let people know how JDM conducted business with me if only someone would have warned me. I am now being forced to get a lawyer just to get my money back and my truck is still sitting. I also tried to resolve this problem with them on many oppertunities.
Thank You Mike"

Jim@JDM response,"Michael Jarrell, Well I might as well get my free post in here too. I was told about this post and went back to the shop to look for any information on your name. I came up with nothing. I guess you waited 18 months to make you first post. I would generally tell you to call me at the shop, but sense this is fabucated the best thing to do is have your lawyer call me. The price of our short blocks is 4695.00 with no core. The price of our long blocks with ported heads and SS valves is 6695.00 with no core. You should get your pricing right becasue there is no way I would send out a short block with ported heads and cams for 4800.00 dollars.

Jim@JDM"
