Patrick S. with Diablo has been doing it since 1999. All a dealer has to do is ask for it in a code. Its typically not done because its a safety measure to not disable it. Only those with Lighting Diablo chip experience know this. Autologic is years late with this feature.

Interesting since Diablo hasn't been around since 99, and it's also never been mentioned before.

I said "Patrick S. with Diablo", not "Diablo has had them since 1999." I've talked to Patrick personally about this and he's had it id'd in ROM, and able to do it since then.

Sal, you know Patrick has been tuning for other companies for a llllllooonnnnnggggg time, and was with Diablo since the day they opened their doors in 2000. He's one of most the experienced there is, programming chips since 1984. You'll be hard pressed to find as many with his experience.

I hear you can disable the odometer count with some diablo chips also...Another reason not to buy a used Lightning.
