Question Does anyone run the MAC cold air kit?

I may be able to get one for a good price... does anyone here use this setup? It has a conical filter and an "air dam" that is supposed to help keep hot air away from filter. MAC claims a 14 HP gain with this kit.

Thanks!

It is a good piece. I bought mine for my 00 L, then had it on my 02 HD with a 8lb ASP pulley. Sounded like a jet at WOT. I put it on my new 03 L yesterday. No issues with fit and finish either. You should be pleased with it's quality for the money.

Do they make different versions for the 80 and 90mm MAF?

Nonsense. And one cannot call a filter which does nothing but suck up hot underhood air a "cold air" kit -- unless you consider 200 degree air cold.

Buy it because it is cheap and makes a cool whine when you step on the throttle. That's all you will be buying.

Skelton is right, but if you insist on buying one, I have one that I'll darn near give you.

Email me if you want it.
