Daily Driver Cars...

I was wrong on one pt, suziki and Daewoo are also ranked below VW when considering minor OEM's, but yeah VW consistently has ranked at the bottom of the industry for a long time. This JD Power study measures long term durability, it has nothing to do with dealer satisfaction (Dealer service with the L has been abysmal). VW also consistently ranks at the bottom of the Initial quality study. Where VW ranks highly is perceived quality. However, that has nothing to do with reality or statistics. I like VW and audi myself. Some of the best interiors in the buisiness and simple good looks. However, their quality is pretty poor. Not to say that there wont be excpetions of course, but statistically speaking....

My *other* car is a 1997 Altima GXE. I drive the Lightning almost daily except for in the winter just because I can't stand being behind the wheel of the Altima. It seems everytime I drive the Altima, I end up stuck at a redlight with a nice car that I could've raced in my Lightning.
The Altima is okay for a winter beater though. The 2.4 liter sips gas (compared to the truck) and I can park it and forget about it almost anywhere.
Working on a 1994 Mercedes C280 as a daily driver....but we'll see how that goes.

Hey Adrenaline,
I know, it's different..lol
Oh well, I bought it as my daily Driver, If it doesn't work out, I'll sell it or trade it for something else. I got 1.9% for 4 years and I bought the car for $300.00 under invoice.
