Question How is your Meziere e-pump doing?

Haven't read anything about the pumps lately. Just wanted to know how they are doing on the trucks that have them. How are they holding up?
I would also like to know what degree Thermostats you guys are running with the pumps.

My Meziere electric water pump with a Stant 170 degree thermostat is holding up just fine with about 8k miles on both.

*knock on wood*

Mine has been holding up real good,

The pulley came off about 3/4 of the way to Ohio, on thursday. It took the belt with it, and ruined my 8# lower pulley

I talked to them yesterday and they told me they have a new design that has a steel plate that holds the pulley on better.

I don't know that I would really recomend it, after it left me stranded in the middle of Pensilvania

Don-

That does suck, bad.

You and I are making big power...did they elude to issues in high HP applications? Is the "plate" a bolt on adaption or, is a new pump needed?

Any funky noises before, or did she just go?

Any input would be cool

If you need help, I have a lift and am pretty close.

That offer would stand for any truck issue, BTW. I have all the tools, EASE, and the service CD...

Anyways, safe travels.

Thanks Andy

Right now I have the Cobra water pump back on. I have to send the pump back for a replacement, then I will be able to tell you what the differance is. I may try to reroute the inner belt, and just eliminate the need for the water pump pulley.

As for any warning, there was none. I was just cruisin on the highway at about 70 mph when I heard a little thump and noticed the battery light on, and no power steering.

I look foward to meeting you soon.

Don
