My back left brake light is out but the back left reverse light still works. The turnsignal started that fast blinking when a bulb is going bad. So ok no prob, I went home changed the bulb...damn thing still wont work. Now my brother started installing a Street Glow underbody kit this morning and we double checked and it sure doesn't look like he hit any wires. I thought it could be a fuse but doesn't the backup light run off the same fuse as the brake light? I am stumped.
Any suggestions on this one guys??

 

Please spare a Lightning from such horrors. If you want to put a neon kit on a car, at least be a true ricer and put it on some disposable POS.

Anyway, about your problem, check the fuse. Since lights are a safety thing, I believe they all have individual fuses. Also, make sure the connector is making good contact with the bulb, and check the wire itself for any nicks, fraying, etc...
