Longtube Gains

Are longtubes really worth it? How much more HP/TQ do you guys think i would get with my setup?

Also, Does anyone have any DYNO #'s with before and after install of longtubes?

Yes long tubes are worth it especailly if you continue to add additional mods. The idea is to suck the air in and be able to get the air out.

If you race your truck I would suggest getting long tubes because in the long run they will make a difference.

I don't have a before and after DYNO #s.I just don't have much use for DYNOs. I believe in tuning for the track on the track.

But that's my opinion.....

exhaust

As for dyno results I don't have a scanner so you'll have to trust me but on my truck I picked up 13 hp and 30 fpt, thats with Kooks long tubes, high flow cats a a single magnaflow muffler. I have most of the bolt-ons ( 4 lb pulley) and a very safe tune and I hit 425hp and 517fpt, can more be had by going more aggressive on the timing, yes, but for now I'm happy. The most noticable things are better throttle response, harder low end pull and a kick a** sound, if your stock just buy a cat back for the volume level but as you turn up the power I think the full meal deal pay off. Good luck, Todd

Initially, the longtubes dont give a lot of hp...but as your mods develope so will the longtubes significance. If I had to do it all over again, I would still buy the longtubes just to get that wimpy sounding stock exhaust out of my L.

No chip installed. Only PSP Air filter & Complete exhaust (long tubes+high flo cats+x-pipe+twin Magnas):
