Talking The new guy.

Hiya, bought a 2002 true blue about a month ago but waited until a 2 week vacation was over to post. Didnt wanna make it seem like I fell off the planet. Just lurking around provided me with alot of info so I knew more about what it was that I was buying and I'd like to thank all that post on a regular basis! (tho I wonder if some dont have a day job?) So a little bout' me, I live in Vancouver WA. That's really close to the capitol of Oregon, Portland. (It's not really the capitol but they think it is) The truck is all stock with the addition of a soft tonnue cover. Why GrannyLightning? I live half a mile from work and its too short a distance to properly get the L warmed up so I can WOT. So instead I just Granny it there and back. Of course a half mile is really 2 quarter miles. Hmmm gotta resist temptation. I'll post pics when I have some good un's. Until then please, talk amongst yourselves. Tim.

Thanks for the welcome guys! As for the true blue being the best color, the dealer had a black one too, but I figured the dark blue would be easier to keep clean. (yeah sure) It just looked a little cooler and I didnt wanna look like Darth Vader. I think my next 'mod' will be speakers tho' cause stock just kinda isnt good for blasting the "system of a down" CD's. Oh, and I'm gonna move the pig tail back under where it can't be seen. (on the truck, not that pig up above) So I'm off to go find speaker info and a way to shove 6X9's in the door instead of dorky 5X7's. Tim.
