You'll get lots of opinions on this, but I really like Zaino. I just used it on my black L last week (it's the only thing I've used on the L), and it turned out super. I also like Meguiers and Mothers, but I think Zaino is better. I think with white, you won't see as much difference. I used Zaino on my wife's van, and it turned out good, but not sure it would have been any different if I had used Meguiers.

Cherry wet wax, mothers, zaino...all good stuff...Zaino will cost you the most if you buy their "system" ...I personally use the mothers "system" because I could get it locally without waiting a week to get my zaino in from New Jersey or a FEW select places i'm told.

Mothers can be had at autozone or pepboys.. Pepboys was cheaper.

Zaino and mothers takes a while to put on, prolly about 4 hours to a few days depending on how **** you want to be for their systems.

Cherry wet wax is really nice although it does not last too long being exposed to the elements. It is extremely easy to use, and produces a nice wet shine even on a black vehicle.

I recently tried the new Eagle One "wax as you dry" spray on my Silver L. I can actually say that it worked a lot better than I would have thought. The shine was good, and it seems to be holding up to the elements fairly well. I drive mine daily even in the rain, and the water is still beading. There was not even any residue on any of the plastic. And of course, it really couldn't have been any easier to apply. I can't say that is a great wax, but for the effort it is nice.

I still have yet to try Zaino though...

I actually just got done doing a wax with the Cherry Wet Wax on my black L...very easy to use and the shine is incredible. When I was done, It looked like my truck wasn't black anymore, just one HUGE mirror sitting in my garage! Great stuff, I highly recommend it, and Coats customer service is great too!

Go down to your local Auto Zone and lay down less than $10.00 for a bottle of Wax Shop Super Glaze. Easy to apply, and even easier to remove. The end results will leave a big on your face.

for when time's an issue, FLASH WAX can be put on and off in under an hour with a great shine that lasts about a week. When time isn't an issue i like 3M glaze followed by mothers step 3 (almost pure carnuba). Granted my truck is garaged every night, and doesn't see foul weather, and get's washed every week. So it doesn't need prep. If your L is kept outside, you will probably need a paint cleaner/clay bar + quick detailer to get it ready.

Hey tim that was funny...

Seriously though, i have used cherry wet, eagle one, mothers and a few more.. I think it is more about using the right buffer/pad to do your truck. Orbital, highspeed, hey i dont know whos going to say what but get those small scratches out and your truck will look great!
