Ford GT (no 40 anymore)

I had heard that they (Rousch/Eaton/Whoever) were actually looking at a 160 not a 166 twin screw. The whole idea is the designers felt there were some safety issues spinnning a 112 as fast as they needed to get the numbers that Ford wanted to see from the car. As always it's a wait and see...

How much of the backside of the Eaton needs to be modded to accept the screws?

I thought Ford was going to a Lysholm supercharger because Eaton doesnt do screws?

eaton has the rights to build them but ford wont put them in because there too expensive and just think what we could do with stock twin screws.

"someone needs to make a blower that isnt 3 grande or more"

How about the blower Sauvy is running? Isn't it about $1500-$1800 dollars?

How is his truck running anyway. You know the one with the trash can lid lower pulley.

Jerry

Jerry, The truck is ok I haven't taken it to the track yet I'm hoping to go Saturday to Lapeer. We had suffered a few set back the engine builder set the right bank timing 3 links off which caused catastrophic failure. So after 3 new pistons, seven new valves, and 3 new rocker arms we will try it again.
I had to send the chip back for reburn and haven't had it dynode yet so I'm a little leery about running my 28 lbs of boost with out it. JDM feels it should be OK but I have a small fortune invested just to see it go up in a puff of smoke!
I am however going to Lapeer Saturday I should be there at opening time and see what she does. I will say this we started it up and I revved it twice and it collapsed the K&N filter on my JLP ram air system.
Also with the truck on the street program the front end looks like it wants to come off the ground. That was before I cut the cats off. The cats melted down so I had to cut them off. I have the JLP lift bars and they seem to work great! I plan on setting it up tomorrow morning for the 28 lbs. of boost. I live in the country and have about a 1/2 mile straight black top road.

The Magnum Powers Blower sounds awsome and was made for the vain! When I pull up in my "L" I like to turn heads any way so its great for me! With out the cats now I'll pipe it when I pull up just to let everyone know I have arrived!

I am not able to give you much more info than I already have. I am bound by my sponsor and must respect there wishes. I can say this all the prototypes are doing well. I simply love mine! I have pulled up to places like speed shops and had guys say what the "H" do you have in that thing and when I crack my hood it draws a crowed. You get all kind of people so "L" friendly some not but even the not's have that look of wow when I leave!!!

Suavy your killing us here. We need some, any, a little tiny bit more info on the Magpower stuff. Then to tease us with secret emails to Eatoncharged is harsh bro!

"We have ways of making you talk!"
