Here is a picture from a guy name Up N Flames

He stated he got them from JBC Customs for $2050 and I believe he said they were painted and clear coated.

They are indeed. Just so everyone is clear they are NOT mine, that truck belongs to Up N Flames. A new member here on F150, but I don't think he is every down here in the Lightning forums. So if someone wanted to ask him about it they might want to post the question down in the "General discussion thread"

They are indeed sweet, and would look really sweet on a Lightning.

thats bretts truck over at fordf150.net . Yeah his truck has been a favorite of mine for a long time, it really has come a long way from when he started. It is painted and clear coated and the price sounds about right. I dont remember the price on the sides of the truck but i remember the hood was about 500 bucks.

Theres the link to when he got truck of the month over on that site (before the lift) and i know his truck was recently in sport truck magazine. Good guy.

Gator I'm very seriously thinking of them, but they have to be soft, I think it would look better that way with true blue.. I would Like to get some before we meet again at Cecil....

Thanks for the thumbs up!

My truck is True Blue and I got misted Silver Flames. They are not Full Ghost but also not pin stripped flames. I also didn't want the flames to stick out that much but I also wanted to see where my money went. My main hang up was what color flames. The painter wanted blue and I wanted Silver to match rims and nerf bars. He painted me a sample. After viewing we both loved the the silver. I don't feel they stick out too much compared to most I've seen. I got middle of the road.

Here's my test pattern.

BTW. Silver is on the right and I DIDN'T get the blue tipped flame you see on that sample. I just told him to do one lick to see what it looked like

Who did your flames Up N Flames? That looks like the work of Sam in Lake Arrowhead.
