I looked into doing something with ghost flames as well, only using that mystic paint. I was looking at paying about $6,000 for the job (roughly $4,000 just for paint). Needless to say I ddin't do it, although I'd still like to.

We used House of Kolor Ice Pearl glass flake blue (from the bumper up) to Ice Pearl glass flake white… Flames are not everyone’s cup of tea but I enjoy them.

Wow... that white truck is freaking sweet... I was thinking about doing something similar, but I have a black truck. Maybe black metallic flames, or something... I don't think they make a pearlescent black paint... do they?

Ghost flames on black usually consists of straight white pearl, with no toners in it meaning no color, just pearl. 1 or 2 coats.

Thanks guys

Blown93, sorry I forgot to post the price (doh). The flames ran me around 1800 but I wanted all of the badges removed and holes welded. I also had him shoot the tailgate handle, tailgate, tonneau, mirrors and did some minor repairs, the total was 2200 after the additional work. I thought it was a great deal considering the materials alone were about 850. Tony also clear coated with House of Kolor clear, it’s a bit brighter IMO.

Tom…
