Best day for FFW Norwalk

I can only manage to get away for either Saturday, or Sunday at Norwalk next weekend. Not both.I want to run in the tough truck and get into some of the eliminations. Do they have eliminations on both days, or is Saturday for qualifying and Sunday for eliminations?

If you cant be there both Sat and Sun you can run Street ford or Fast ford either day

They are complete races each day

If memory serves me right, if you don't run the Top Truck class you can not pit with the others that do. They stick you over on the other side of the track. I would really like to pit along with all the others from this board.

Norwalk is different that way - Not sure what your options are ....

Call JDM and ask - Its thier class

It is now Tough truck.

Also. I would go Saturday. Seems like more people are there and you get more runs in for the money.

One practice and 2 time trials on Sat.

Sunday is just eliminations, so you can go out the first round and only get one run. Of course for tough truck you have to be there both days.

The Non showdown classes ( quick ford, fast ford, street ford, etc ) have complete races both Sat and Sun, Qualifying, Eliminations and awards each day.

Tough Truck is the class to run if you can be there both days.

Weather Saturday to be in the mid 70's. Looks like it will be Quick Ford on Saturday for me. Will visit the other side between time trials to put some faces with names from here.

Thats kind of you Don, and there is nothing I would like better.
However, that last time I attended an FFW at Norwalk, the track forced me to pit on the opposite side when I signed up at Linders Lot that morning. The only trucks allowed to enter off of Route 18 are the ones in the show, and Tough Truck.
For those of you heading over from the Jersey area, it has rained here everyday this week and the ground is very saturated. if you are camping bring a lot of heavy ground cover.

Just tell them you are a guest of JDM and that they are going to be installing some parts on your truck, and they will have to let you into our section. Or come over to our area and i will borrow a VIP pass from jim and get you in.
