service engine soon
service engine soon
hi guys,
last week i installed a 6lb pulley, ftvb, 90mm mass air meter, and a chip. after driving around for an hour the service engine soon light came on. i drove my truck home and then the next morning i put the chip in stock/off mode and disconnected the battery. on the second try the light finally went off. then i drove the truck sparingly for a week, but then last night the light came back on..... what should i do??? i don't want to keep bothering the tuner i bought this stuff from, they have been very cool. anyone have a similar experience with a chip???
thanks, dan

Dan,
Not sure who you bought your mods from. But, do you have an oil breather cap, if so try taking that off and putting the stock cap back on and see what happens. It is your job to bother the tuner you bought it from until you get what you paid for. That's why we are here, that's our job and you are not bothering anyone. Otherwise, best thing would be to call your tuner with the SES codes that can be read from a local autozone or Ford Dealer.
Hope this helps,
