what do I do with stock throttle body now that I have single blade?

The reason I wanted to hold on to it and keep it was I've heard of some single blades sticking. So I wanted to keep the stock throttle body if I ever had problems with my SVO throttle body. But does anyone know from expierance that the svo doesnt stick, and I can get rid of my stock throttle body? Also what other truck besides a lightning can use it and how much can I ask for it in the classifieds? thanks, Shane
I don't really remember anybody having a problem with the SVO throttle body sticking.
I've had mine on for about 2 years with no problems.
I know a few people bitch about this being a worthless mod but most of them that are talking don't have one anyway.
You won't really pick up the HP numbers or ET's but it sure makes daily driving better. I was disappointed at first when I bought mine and didn't get better ET's with a 2# pulley. After driving with it on the street I really noticed the big increase in throttle response and the amount of pedal it took to maintain a certain speed.
I didn't realize how much I liked it until I took it off to get my intercooler replaced. All I can say is Dayuum!!. On the way home from picking up my truck I could have sworn they lost my stock throttle return spring and put a heavier one on to replace it. I was having to push down so far on the pedal to maintain 70 mph that the spring felt super stiff.
As it turned out it was my same spring. I reinstalled the single blade T/B and it was all good again.
This is a mod that you won't realize how much you will miss until you take it off.

i agree, like i've said b4 i only spent $200 on the svo and I love it!
I love how it sounds and I like how throttle responsive it is with the pulley combo also.
thats not my concern. I just want to know who can use me old one. thanks, Shane

Ok get yourself a really good pipe saw, and cut about one inch past the blades. Make sure to do it as straight as possible. Then go to your local machine shop and have them plane it flat and polish it up. Remove the blades and all the other parts inside.
Now heres where it get complicated. You want to weld 4 good solid bolts evenly around the part with the open thread facing downwards and sticking out about 1-1.5 inches. You have to ensure that these bolt are very straight or youll mess it up, but it doesnt have to be like machined straight, just visually pretty decent. Youll want the bolts to be about a number 8 machine bolt, nothing too hefty.
Once youve done that dab ink on the ends of all the bolts and set it on your work bench so it makes a mark where all the bolts land. Drill the appropriate size hole. Now thread all the bolt though the holes and bolt em too the table. Now you have one really kick *** beer holder, and best part yet, it holds two beers.
Yes im at work, and yes i have far too much free time.

Sorry guy, just having fun, in anycase, i dont believe it fit any other application, and unless someone breaks theres i doubt there is gonna be too much demand. You might be able to port and polish it and get a decent price, and it seems like you know your stuff so you might be able to do some of that on your own. Be a shame to junk it, but i don't know what you would do with it. Doesnt hurt to post it in the classifieds.
I actually like my beer idea tho.
Would be sorta cool, does a bottle fit in there? i made one out of those useless throttle body spacers (not jdms, the ones for N/A engines thats supposed to spin air)
