I'm stupid, need help.

I orderd a thermal sensor for my electric fan kit and had it shipped express, and now I've lost the sensor. Can anybody give mea hint as to where I could find such an item *today* (aka locally).

I have access to same day delivery from McMaster Carr, but don't know exactly what to call the part to search for it.

I don't know at all. Still have the stock fan. But I can relate to loosing stuff I do computer building for people, repair, etc. I loose a lot of parts and then weeks down the road after I reordered it, I find it. Sucks bad

I'd call flex-o-lite. My temp probe was a completly seperate unit/thing. Don't see why they could'nt set you up in short order?

Actually, what does that sensor do? Basically, temp > degrees turn fan on?

If that is the case, i would just try like a pep boys or something. I'm sure a lot of the local stores will have something like that if its just that basic of a sensor. Maybe even an electric store. Perhaps even a store like Menards. But I would try the auto stores first. Thats pretty common of a part. Just explain what you are trying to do.
