Thumbs up BIG BIG Props to Gregg Evans and Factory Tech.....

Hi all--

I thought I would share a little story with all of you detailing the OUTSTANDING customer service and all around GREAT guy that Gregg Evans is from Factory Tech...

As some of you have seen, I've been having problems with my tranny...I have about 39K miles on my 01 now and I just recently added a new flip chip, 6lber, FTVB and exhaust to it....After about 2 weeks of driving, it seems the POS stock 4R100 tranny decided it no longer wanted to go into overdrive...

At first, I thought it was the FTVB sticking, so Gregg OVERNIGHTED me a new FTVB at his expense and I tried that, no luck, still problems...So I put the stock one back in, still problems and I figured something was Fubarred internally in the tranny, no codes were being thrown, just something mechanical...

This truck is my daily driver and my only car to drive, so I'm kinda SOL basically...I talk to sal the other day, explain my problems and shoot Gregg an email, asking about his monster box , etc...

Now mind you, Gregg is going on vacation this week and will be gone for most of the month! I figured, crap, I'm really SOL now, nothing I can do...Well, I find out this morning that Gregg is going OUT of his way, to get me a brand new core at his expense and going to build me the monster box today and have it ship out tomorrow to my shop!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I almost fell off my chair when I found out, not only would he foot the bill for the new core, but he would also have the monster box done for me in short time and get it out before he leaves on vacation! I quickly Pay paled him the cost of everything, so he could get paid right away and all would work out!!!

I have NEVER seen such honesty and integrity and trully un real customer service like this in my life....I have nothing but the utmost respect for Gregg and the way he does business and simply the kind of guy he is....I hope all of you think twice about EVER slamming or putting down Gregg and Factory Tech...He really is amazing with his customer service and products and I've been around the racing industry for a long time, and something like this, is like finding a needle in a haystack to say the least...

Also, BIG BIG thanks to Sal and PSP for helping me out getting in touch with Gregg and also providing me with GREAT service and support!!!! The 2 of you guys are a blessing to the lightning world!!!

Gregg, you da man!!!!!!!!!

Gregg, if you are back from vacation and able to make the Modular Shootout in Columbus, Ohio, at national trails, July 25-27th, It would be great to meet up and I can buy you a few rounds

Jeff

You aren't the only one in the "Gregg is Da Man" club.............I'd be hard pressed to find ANYONE who doesn't feel the same way..............the guys is as good, honest, and sincere as they come.......................If just half the people in this world were half as good in their business as Gregg is in his, this community and this whole world would be a much better place to do business in............................A truly stand-up guy, Gregg Evans!!!

Thumbs up to Greg

Great story of outstanding customer service.

I just installed his valve body last night. Hands down my best mod so far. Love the first to second, second to third scratch. Can't wait to finish my mods and get her to the track.

Even reading his installation instructions you get the feeling he takes pride in his work!

You know; I think it gets overlooked sometimes. Just where would our trucks(trans specifically) be with out Factory Tech parts. Just stop and think about how many Factory Tech valve bodies out out there leaving little black stripes on the pavement. Then think about how many 11 and some 10 sec L's have Factory Tech Monster Boxes. And don't leave out the 12 sec guys. I currently have a FT vavle body, and if or when I need a tranny I will not even have to think twice about what I want for my truck. I mean what else would we have to handle the monster tq a lot of the trucks are putting out now...

Gregg's da man
