100 shot of nitrous... is it safe
The four pound lower and 75 shot will be faster than stock boost and 100 shot. With a safe tune, and running at least 100 octain (for added security), you probably wont have to wory about grenadeing a rod.
Although, over time you may stress rods like we have. As far as I know, we are the only ones to have done this. It happened on the stock 99 motor (stressed a rod in 28,000 miles), and it also happened on a brand new 01 short block (stressed a rod in 12,000 miles). Boost and nitrous combinations that we've run on these motors: Stock Boost/50 & 75 & 100 & 125 & 150 shot, 2Lb Lower/75 & 100 shot (this combo on the second motor). At this time, we were also at the track three or four times a month pounding on those motors.

Thanks lightningboy, I wont be spraying it that much. I drive my truck easy untill somebody pulls up and wont leave me alone. The main reason im getting nitrous is for them pesky Z06's. I really dont wanna add more boost. I guess ill just go with a 75 shot then, if you think that is safer
