I gotcha covered. This weekend I am picking up the spare helmet to bring on the 11th. It is a Snell 90. I called Pacific Raceways to double-check and make sure it would pass tech and they said it will work.

If you want to buy one, try Bent Bike. They are located in Lynnwood and Auburn and when I talked to them they said they had helmets around $90. Other than that you can try garage sales and thrift stores. For Pacific Raceways it needs to have a Snell 90 rating or above and it can be a motorcycle helmet.

 

what do you guys do when in line at the track on test n tune nights? Do you crank the truck to move forward then cut it back off. Do you leave the ice on the intake untill you get to the line? Where do you guys usually let the truck cool till on the temop gauge?

You can get a rated helmet for 70.00 or so. I up here in Bellingham and just went to some dump of a motorcycle store. I have a big mellon too.

You can also try a Harley store. They sometimes have cheap stuff. Good luck.
