Cheap Bra for Lightning?

I was wondering where I could possibly pick up a CHEAP bra for our trucks. I dont really like them much but Im going to need one for when I drive to the big Miami meet in early august. I will probably only use it this once but if it keeps the rock chips away then its worth it.

I suppose it would be a trade off. Bra or Bug deflector. Which do you hate less, rock chips or scratches? Bras really can scratch the paint, all kinds of bras, even that Victoria Secret boobalicious one. No seriously they both have trade offs.

Have you thought about that 3M clear stuff you put right on the paint. It's like a clear bra. I've heard good things about it.

bra's will screw your paint up worse than a chip will.... plus they look goofy.

I dont need a perminant solution, just something for 1 five hour drive to and from. The clear stuff is made by 3M, but you cant get wax anywhere near it or it will look bad. Do you think a bra will really scratch the paint in one use?

as for the deflector, that only covers the hood line, the front piece usually gets the worst of the rock chips

definitly temporary, I hate how the bras look...I dont usually drive on the HWY ...especially not for over an hour or something if Im going to orlando. What if I stuff some towels behind the bra so it doesnt touch the paint?

so where can I get one?

Your truck doesn't have Tiits, Don't get a Bra.

Never understood... Don't want to chip the front of your truck so you install this ugly *** cover that looks worse than a chipped front.

Like I said before a few times, its only for 2 days...I dont usually take my truck on the hwy, Im going 5 hours to miami in august for an SVT meet, so the truck has to come, I think I can handle the fugly looks for a few days...Its only going to be on when Im driving to and from miami, not at the show

Steve, that would be cool , I would apreciate it...saves me 130 bux from ordering one from ford

so much could happen in that five hour trip. A rock could get caught behind it and wear the paint, or it could get moisture under it and fog the paint, or it could flap in the breeze and wear the paint away... go without it..... you will be much better off.
In my 9000 miles of driving my 02, I have only one small stone chip. In the 41,000 miles on my '99, I had three chips that were barely noticeable.

I had a bra on my Lightning and so did my father. He doesn't drive his anymore so he removed it. I removed mine because it was suck a pain to clean under it. Also I think the intercooler didn't cool as well with the screen in front. It was nice during trips and easy to clean on the outside(no nooks where the bugs and dirt go.)
