What does dealer benefit from x-plan
Just curious if a dealership obtains any type of additional credit from Ford when unit is sold via x-plan sale? Say I have a PIN, the x-plan price is struck then we discuss the deal getting done as a regular sale but at the x-plan price (I'd get it anyway with my PIN). Should the dealer care any??
I've heard of some dealerships selling SVT (late in a model year) products at x-plan pricing without a PIN. My local dealer will gladly sell @x-plan which I have an a PIN.
The reason I ask is being able to apply grad rebate that a family member has (adding another $1K CND savings) which I understand cannot be combined/stackable with an x-plan purchase.

X-plan is pretty much invoice so the dealer still makes holdback in some cases and they get an additional sale. Ford does reimburse the dealer a small amount on X-plan deals, but A, D, and Z, plans are larger discounts and therefore the dealer gets a larger reimbursement.
