Thumbs up

Thanks for the kind words guys. I am sorry the rest don't like em but to each his own. I like them a lot and that is all that really matters.

I payed $50 a wheel to get sandblasted! They said the stock ones have powder paint under the clear and it took a while to break thru. I paid $50 a wheel for the powder paint and $25 to clear poweder em. Which I thought was dirt cheap. So for $500 I got a nice looking setup. Beats spending thousands and I think it looks better. -Mat-

That's the important thing. How you feel about them is what counts. Myself, I'm a chrome guy, but others might like Billet and others painted. That's what makes customizing great. It makes our trucks unique to ourselves and gives off a little of our personality.

I love the look. The dark metalic look. The gunmetal, or whatever color you wanna call it. Its still pretty uncommon.

In my opinion chrome looks good on some cars/trucks, but not everything. And its about as rare as a tribal tattoo. Nothing like expressing yourself by getting something everyone else has.

Hey man if your happy with them thats cool. Kinda reminds me when the NBA starting wearing black gymshoes, I thought they made their legs look smaller. Different ideas though makes this world go round.

Nice looking.

If there is one thing I CANNOT STAND is Chrome on a car.
the hideous thing that ever went on a car.

Second on my list is Wood accented interior.

I know you blasted and power coated them,

Have you ever heard of POR-15?

www.por-15.com

I use this stuff on everything. It stops rust, goes on with a brush, is self leveling paint so it looks smooth as hell and you cannot scrape it off with a screwdriver.
I was thinking I have alot left over from doing the undercarriage of my '69 stang. I could do the rims on my truck, not to copy you, but I think it will hold up to chips as good as powder coating.

IMO: Chrome is FRICKING UGLY on a Car, Truck, Anything!

black out

Matt, They look great in my opinion and really set the truck off. I thought of doing the same, but a bit lighter, I guess somewhere between stock and gun metal, for 500.00 you really can't beat it.
