Got my 03 DSG on 12/21/02. So far my best stock run is 13:59 @ 101.85. Got over 9 thousand on her now.

I came with in a hair of getting the Blue, but did not like the purple it turns under some lighting.

As a matter of fact, I had a 97 edgewood blue F150 V6 5 speed. Well last night we had a party at our place, and one of the guess asked me where the purple truck was at. Told her I sold it for the DSG.

BTW, the price you were told is one he!! of a deal.

Well I don't want to hijack the thread but my 03 L ran 99.1 mph two nights ago in what I thought was good air. That is with 400 miles on the clock, and bone stock. Was tryin to convince myself that Ford detuned the 03's due to all the warranty issues. I don't know, several others there where off their best mph's but I can't figure why. I doubt the truck is a factory dog though, I was 2 mph faster than a stock 02, and 5-6 mph slower than a modded 01. Who knows...

There does seem to be a purple tint at times so it can look like Grimace coming down the street. My original choice was going to be the DSG but changed my mind when I saw the blue. You need to look at both colors in person and see which one grabs you. Grey is a good look on the L but everyone has a car that color/shade too.

Either way you go you will have an awesome truck with a nice color.

I've seen all the L colors up close and personal. And although I Love them all (and still wish I got Red), That 03 Sonic Blue is AWESOME. When I saw Chris's at Cecil I really fell in Love with the Color

Hey BTW, where the hell has Chris been lately ???

I dont think u will be dissapointed with any color you choose on the L. I do think if u get black it would be hard to keep clean, especially since it is a large vehicle, dont get me wrong, i actually wanted a black L. White seems a little ordinary for such a special sports vehicle, Blue- well if u like purple sometimes go ahead, its nice but then theres the purple problem. DSG seems to be a very poplular color on cars these days, it looks nice on almost any vehicle imaginable. I have red and i am partial to it, before i got red i didnt like the color. But red stands out sooooo much, and everyeone will look at RED. even if u drive a geo, well maybe . Goodluck on your color choice, and if anyone in a different car gives u crap about the color u chose, just tell them to settle your differences at the track, im sure u wont have much problems there, unless they're modded.

The 03 Sonic Blue L's are much bluer than the Sonic Blue 02 Mustangs. Its is almost like they are two different colors...

To me (I have a Red 03) the blue trucks look good in pictures and not as good in person, and the red trucks look good in person and terrible in pictures. Just my .02...no offense to the blue bretheren...

I have noticed that about the red ones. No pic I see a red one in does it justice. All look dull and not that bright. When you see them in person...WOW Different truck from pictures
