That car obviously had a chip because the limiter was set higher. I used to bounce off the limiter all the time. The car was a hand full in the lower gears because it revs so fast. You have to be on your game with this car.

Both car and truck are awesome. A LOT of L folks want an 03 Snake. I was a little different. I wanted a L all a long. I've had 2 other snakes and not having the opportunity to own the fastest stock Mustang ever made was something I couldn't pass up.

The L fits my needs more and every day I drive the L I miss the Snake less...

Those cobras are awesome. I would love to get one... but i need the functionality of a truck. That is why the L is so perfect. if i could have both i would get a cobra.... one day....

That car belongs to a close friend of mine.

He spend $852.20 on it:

2.80 upper
diablo chip
straight pipes
filter

He ran a best of 11.71@121 with those mods on BFG's and 11.85@118 on stock tires. I think the car has about 2000 miles on it.

We've got about 2 other Cobra's up here all running lowlowlow 12s or high 11s. My other friend's cobra went 11.66@120 with a Lightning upper and exhaust (chip ofcourse).

We are currently trying to figure out how we can get all three together...and cameras that can keep up. Gonna have to find a modded viper...

AWESOME VID

I MUST HAVE ONE TOO

Unfortunatly I'm finding the Dealerships really don't care if you buy from them. I have now contacted 3 SVT Dealerships in my Quest to buy a Mystic Chrome 04 Cobra Convertible.
Not one has been able to give me a price, or get me on the list to buy 1 out of the 1000 that will be made.
Of course only a small part of that 1000 will be Convertibles.
AND I WANT ONE

Rob will you only buy a Mystic Chrome Cobra>??? If not I am sure you could find someone to work with you. If all else fails give my buddy Dave B. a call at Lombard Ford in Winsted, CT(if you don't mind traveling). 1-800-822-4222 X110. Tell him Mat V. told you to give him a call. He doesn't mark the SVTs up and I got my Cobra for well under sticker. If you are serious let me know and I will call him for you and see what he can do. Great bunch of guys up there!

Funny thing is, I have an 03Cobra and the fastest I have gone is like 130. That was only once too. I am just not really a fan of that kind of stuff I guess. I would like to max it out one of these days though. If the weather ever gets nice! -Mat-

KBB already has pricing and info for 04 Cobras.
MSRP = $35,200 - Coupe
Mystichrome package = $3,650 + (MSRP)

Chrome wheels still an option. 2 new colors
Screaming yellow and Competition Orange

They are taking orders now for Fall Delivery.

Thanks SVT-F150

I may just take you up on that offer
They would have to take my 02 L back with 4yrs of Payments left on it and work the numbers for me.

mac03cobra just got my attention though
WHAT DEALERSHIP IS TAKEN ORDERS ???

Why won't the 3 Dealerships I talked to, get back to me ????

Mac03Cobra,

Your in DFW too? I'm in Plano and am on here alot!

I've got a red '02 L.

http://www.talonclub.com/forum/index.php?

Some of us L guys get together at the Circuit City at Central Expwy and Parker (I think that's the street) on Monday nights around 9ish. Tons of hotrods/bikes there!

Maybe we'll see you there.

Ronald

Old habits are hard to quit! This was in your neck of the woods!

9 2003 Snakes and 1 L! But it got a lot of looks!

Rob, Most of the big SVT dealers are now taking orders. 2 grand deposit from what I'm hearing.

Keep your L... Been there, done that. The Snake is awesome, but you'll miss the L. I love this TRUCK! and I was one of the crazy ones that did almost what the guy in the VID did. The power is intoxicating I agree!

Mac...
