Around here, $44 for a 10lb bottle refill is a pretty good deal. Most shops charge $5 per pound.

****- Man that's alot of nitrous you ran through your 99. 20-25 20# bottles on a 150hp shot, you must have for sure gotten a good set of rods. What kind of plugs did you run and what kind of chip were you running? How did the tranny hold up?

Hank

I hear you on the "How'd the Tranny Hold up question".
That seems to be of more concern to me right now than the Rods.
I've never had a Single Motor issue on any of the Three Nitrous Moded rides I've had. Big Block Chevelle, Z-1 Proto-Type Kawi 900, and the Lightning. The Chevelle went through more Nitrous than Gasoline and I was squirting 150 HP for YR's on it, SOMETIMES 6 to 10 times a day . I had the best tranny convertor and 12 bolt money could buy at the time. And still to date the most awesome T-400 I've ever felt or driven in.
BUT as time went on it took it's toll on it, never had to fix or change it, but it was slowly slipping away when I sold it.
SO YES IT WILL TAKES IT'S TOLL ON YOUR TRANNY EVENTUALLY
MAYBE SOONER ON THE L
