If you had an almost free NOS kit would you use it.

if I had nitrous I would use a 150 shot....... as long as I got a built motor.......
and if it was free I would DEFINATELY take it and use it....

Nitrous doesn't hurt a motor, a bad nitrous tune hurts a motor.

I had a 99' Lightning and it was used to make the NOS Lightning
kit,I ran a 150 HP shot with no other modifications and had no
trouble . I ran 20-25 20LB bottles thru it. ****

Its the NOS 05115 kit and i got it for almost nothing still in the box, i have also bought a heater, remote opener , throttle/rpm activated switch, nitros throtle plate for the jet, 4 way chip is in the works.
This is by far the most anticipated mod i have evere done, man i cant wait to run it down.
Im not worried about the refill cost, ill only use it once or twice a month

yeah over here at Midwest Hot Rods in Plainfield, (if I had nitrous) they fill it up for cheap. Like $3 a pound, so $30 a 10 pound bottle... thats not bad. but $45 is. But I dont sprey, so I pay $0 to fill up my supercharger... Ive thought about nitrous. Some days more than other. Some days for just a second. Im glade I am where I am off spray. If I get a built motor and turn my truck into a race truck, theny maybe spray. But till then, nos isnt for me. Thanks, Shane
