Shane,

JMHO...If you have over 10K on the 99-00 shocks, more than likely they have outlived their useful life. 01+ Bilsteins are MUCH better.

Perhaps its just the Chicago-land salt wreaking havoc on the undercarriage.

Bob

are the bars in the right spot? I measured 6 inches back from the axle... they look about right? they drive fine, no vibration and I can already tell they are on there. a lot less wheel hop, even on f1's. thanks, Shane

Hey Shane....

I'm really interested in what you end up running in the 1/4 mile. That is when you make it up there. We pretty much have the same setup. But, I will have 3.73's installed here pretty soon. So are trucks won't be exactlly the same. But close. I have to figure out what I'm gonna do about traction though..... I might just do what you ended up doing. Truck Tracs. Who know's?????

Would you believe 1079 shipped? Yes it is true.... I can hook you up with the guy that sold them to me. It's legit.

The SVT center's were a tough find.

Hey, when you ran the 12.6, what were your mods at that time?

everything you see in the sig got me 12.64. I havent added anything to my profile because I wanted to keep it clear. I have added an upper, slicks, traction bars and single blade. I just havent ran with them yet, so I dont want to post 12.60 with my current mods.. But I had 4# lower, valve body, exhaust, chip and filter and I ran 12.64. thanks, Shane

I'm surprised how rusty your undercarriage is? My 2001 with 30,000 miles doesn't look anything like that -salted roads? Or do you keep your truck outside all the time? Just seems like a lot of surface rust.

Anyway, I finally installed my Cal-Traks last night...as far as traction bars go, I don't see how a slapper could be better than these. Especially with LFP's quiet kit. I have 22's so I can't compare to F1's but it really hooks up, stays straight and launches much better than before.

The Hotchkis rear springs are crazy...only 2 leafs.

yeah I live in chicago AND drove it a little last year in the snow. I tried to store it, but that didnt last long at all. Also I do leave it outside overnight. Don't have room in the garage for me. I dont mind how it really looks under there, I just care about how the outside of the truck looks. outside doesn't look bad.
Thanks, Shane
