Again all I am saying is that if it is a 6 month warranty I think you are going after the wrong guy if it goes bad or got hit and cracked.
If there was a problem in the first 6 months then this would probaly not be an issue.

I know the the warranty on emissions parts thru Ford is not only 36,000 but that is besides the point. I know better then to expect Ford to fix anything whether I am under warranty or not. We are talking about a tuner here and I thought I was part of the "family." Think again. I didn't hit anything, it is not cracked, it IS falling apart. If I build a tranny for someone and they have problems a little ways out of warranty I take care of it. I don't tell them to go scratch. Just not the way you do business when you own a small company. I try my hardest to treat people the way I would like to get treated. I guess that doesn't help me at all here. Like Gator said I would expect there to be a longer warranty on emission related pieces. I mean a 6 month warranty on something like that>??? Nice way to stand behind your product! All this over what a part that probably costs them under 50 bucks. -Mat-

The part may cost only $50, but they have to weld the pipes up to it along with the collector flange...I would be scared that I was to mail the broken part back for them to fix it could take several months to get it back.

Hey Mat. You know I've always gone to the wall for you. My problem here is that you are not running the proper tune for your truck. You had JJ'sSVT reburn my chip, which is now too lean for your truck. Your borther ran the identical tune you are running now that JJ gave you, and his motor blew up. Now, your cats are melted because you are running too lean. You had no problems until you put JJ's tune on it. Stop trying to blame it on somebody who's fault it is not. Send me your chip and I will put the same program back on it from when I dyno'd it so that way way you won't melt anymore cats. Call me at the shop. 732/780/0770

No I am still looking for someone to do the gears in the truck, my bro just can't do it, they won't let him work after hours at his dealership. from what I was told these gears require no shims so it should be a easy job, I'd do it myself if I had a press and and a lift. but yeah I would love to drive down and have you guys do it. let me know.

I didn't know that a 12.0 A/F thru a tailpipe sniffer was too lean>??? I always that they read about 1/2 point too lean to so that would put me at a 11.5. You said yourself my brother's and my trucks are different and run different and respond different. Also I am not blaming the cat failure on you, I never did and I would not do that. I was just a little upset with the way I was being treated. If it is/was the chips fault then I will except that and suck it up and drive on like a man. I will call you 2morrow and we can get some things straightened out. Thanks for the reply. -Mat-

Mark @ LFP said that no shims are needed with these gears, they are the U.S./Strange gears that he sells, some others said that the shops they had install them also said they fit perfect with no shims needed, others said they re-used the stock shims, I have the new pinion nut, crush sleeve, pinion bearing and new oil to install the gears but Mark said that I didn't need the shims. let me know and we can set something up.

cat pipe

Hey Matt, I just wanted to throught out my opinion on what happened with your cat pipe, I do understand both sides to this as I deal with it every day, and in my opinion they should meet you half way, the pipe was out off warranty, yes, but buy how much, with the investment you've made I think that would be fair, I do understand JDM's side as well , why bother having warranties if your going to push them, it just opens up a flood gate for problems and so called favoritism, especially on the boards. I do wish you all the best getting it resolved. side note- the bassani x pipe with O2 eliminators would permentally fix the problem. Todd
