You're in the number 1 spot right now, so enjoy it while you can. There are more and more fast trucks being born every day, no one stays in first for ever.
Well said Bill! Let's not forget a truck in Jersey that is about to come out and AGAIN wreak total havoc on the competition.

When was the last time the other tuners drove their trucks around on the street? In the A/C?

Big Red Machine

Not that it really matters but the hitch, rear bumper and brackets are working parts and reinforcements which I would think would aid if you were slammed as you stated... Hope to see some 9's this year! Good Luck!

P.S. I bet when some of those lightweight parts are market ready your be promoting them, Heh?

Bill, I agree with you 100%. Your truck's accomplishment is so new, that I just wasn't thinking of it. You're truck is awesome, and I am very glad to see more trucks running these kind of ETs in this kind of trim.

Justin, if you think the MM&FF shootout was wreaking havoc, you have a pretty poor understanding of the word. Going one tenth faster while being 400lbs lighter, and having 5 mph less trap speed, is not exacty "havoc". My 01 has been the fastest truck every year since I've owned it, and I've set every new sub 12 second milestone ET (11.90, 11.63, 11.20, 10.78, 10.48) with it. Don't get me wrong, I welcome the competition, but leave your stupid arrogant attitude in the office.

For everyone else, thanks for the kind words. I am really enjoying driving the truck around, I just went and picked up chinese food in it .

cyntaxx,

We just got a set of 20 inch Boyd Coddington wheels for the JDM truck. It is a street truck and will always be a street truck, just like all of the JDM vehicles in the past such as the 10 sec Gen1, and the 10 second 5.4 4 Valve F-150 that we built a couple years ago, as well as our 10 second 03 Cobra convertable. (See our website for magazine coverage on these vehicles) There is no major weight reduction in our truck. A/C, power steering, etc are all in. The pass. seat is out. We have had record setting runs last year on the STOCK Eaton at 10.50 flat.

Sal, you rock

It's good to see that your truck is running the numbers it is without you making any compromises in it's function

You're point? That kinda stuff can go on forever. Like doing all this on the stock Eaton with a less shot of NOS. Please leave your arrogance for your house.
