The other day I took off the filter/boot, and cleaned the TB the best I could without taking it off. (wrong tools for the bottom screws) My strange exhaust sound has improved somewhat..but I think there is still some crud in the intake plenum...and possibly the blower itself...what should I do?

By the way, the reason its all dirty is because the bottom of the boot wasnt on all the way for about 2 weeks...so Im sure I was sucking some dust/dirt ect.

 

the plenum isnt that hard to remove, just unbolt the egr, unplug the iac, then there are 4 bolts on the plenum itself i think. the back ones are kinda hard to get to though. the blower im not sure though

 

well, I dont need to take off the blower,, at least I hope not...Im just hoping that the dirt didnt make it that far...but with my luck

 

The Plenum has 6 bolts, I should know I have taken mine off about 12 times.
If you come over next week Derick, I can help you out. I will have an extra plenum by next week if you are interested in having yours ported.

 

depends on how much it would cost, are we shooting for the pulley installs next week? How long did it take to get to you from REM? I havent orderd mine yet...I would think its a 2-day shipment from miami..

 

Ordered monday got wednesday.
The pulley install will be the 21st if all goes well.
Make sure you ask for an instruction sheet when you order, mine had none.
