2003 Rods????

Did they change the rods back to the '99-'00 rods for the '03's?

Does anybody know. There is no way to find out through part numbers as the 2003 rods/piston assembly replaces all previous years.

Ok lets put it this way, did they make an upgrade to the rods from the 2001 to fix the weaknesses?

The same rods have been used from '99 to present.

I heard rumors that the 03 rods and also the block itself was stronger?

What weakness.
Constant 11 second runs. daily Driven w/8# lower and dynoed 440 RWHP and 560 RWTQ on my WEAKASS 01' rods.
22,000 miles and the rods are still in the block.

I heard the new rods have magic pixie dust sprinkled on them but I don't know if this is true as my source was a pixie and might have been trying to boost the magic pixie dust comodity market.

SAE and I screwed up. Its only 430, but the point was the fact that my rods are still in my motor after I added 70 RWHP.

Ok I was just curious cause I am 4 tenths slower then you and we have the same power. I guess I need to go on a diet, but I am also not getting good 60fts like you. My tranny sucks too. OH well. Thanks for the info. -Mat-
