Pulled the intercooler out and pressure tested it and nothing, not a drip with 25 psi of pressure. then the hose blew off and water when everywhere so I guess I can put this all back together now and scratch my head for a weak while I get some things powder coated!

Oh well it happens, but somewhere and somehow its leaking so I'll figure it out.

Hose was leaking from a crack in it. How I don't know but I took car of it!

 

Glad that is all it was When you posted that your new I/C was leaking you had me looking at my fluid level evertime I got in the L and when I got home. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I was more pissed off that ford wouldn't replace my intercooler if it was leaking when its a known problem. I'm still pissed about the fact that I'm sure there some other L out there thats going to develop a leak and guess what, there screwed cause fords recall is up when it should be a lifetime recall notice when its a known problem. The fog lights that break constantly I could never get replaced under warrenty, yeah I'm a little pissed about that too. My door crack that I got after my warrenty was voided wouldn't get covered by ford cause my truck had performance mods on it????? Yeah I should be 100% happy with ford and there service .

Do I love my truck, of course I do or else I would have sold it but I still think ford should take some responsibilities for stuff that breaks due to poor qaulity. If my motor was to blow up from to much power I wouldn't blame ford at all cause thats my own fault for modding that part of it.

I guess I'm just an a$$hole though, and it feels GOOD!!!

 

I don't think you should be 100% happy. I know I am not. Just all this bitching about Ford lately has gotten to me. Ford didn't need to build us these trucks. They did though. Just the way you said crew Ford and SVT ya know I wanted to stand up for them. I think they built great products for us. Every car has problems. Not just us. I am sorry you are having a tough time with your truck. You run into problems whenever you have a high performance vehicle. -Mat-

 

They may build an okay product, but the don't stand behind it. They didn't do us a favor by building the Lightning. It is a money maker for them. Ford is in business to make money. They don't do favors.
