Will I resist temptation????
Well on June 30th I'll be closing on the sale of my townhome.......and I should walk out with roughly $55K of cold hard cash (well, check) between what I owe, and what I sold for.................The "plan" is to apply that amount toward my next house (to be completed in August), so as to lower my mortgage payments, along with furniture, etc.............................
How tempting will it be to blow at least ten or so thousand, on a faster daily driver (i.e. Foxbody Stang, F-body LT1, maybe Gen1 L), and some more mods on my Mach.............
Please guys.............don't let me do it.................I may end up with no te$ticles after my girl gets a hold of me if I don't get her a ring!!!

If you love her get a friggin ring. Best choice I ever made. If you don't want to get her a ring, well that's a problem you need to deal with.
If you don't like the whole "diamonds aren't actually worth anything", may I suggest a colored stone? I got my honey a nice ruby and she loves it.

Any of the pics that were closer up showed how much dirt was on it...
One nice thing about rubies: They're great at dance clubs because they light up like a torch in UV (black) light.

My buddy gets jewelry cheap if you want a hook up. I bought my woman some excellant grade 1/2 K diamond studs with a custom white gold setting for 100 bucks! He's getting a 2 K princess cut diamond for his woman cause he's thinking about tieing the knot, only 5 grand for that stone and its excellant grade also!

If I had 55,000, I would dump it all in go-fast-goodies. Screw the ring. I would get a bike for 6-7 grand, a foxbody and dump about 20 into, then do the Lightning over with built longblock, Works or KB, nitrous, 4-link rear, cage, etc etc.
