Depends on how much rake you want, if you want your truck to look level go with the 3 inch, if you want a small amount of rake go with the 2 inch, i have installed the 2 inch on my truck looks good. hope this helps

Are you guaranteed to get a 3 inch drop with a 3 inch shackle??

A 3" shackle will not get you a 3" drop. On my 03 the 3" shackle gave me exactly 2".

I would go with the 3 incher to assure the 2 inch drop. On my 02 I got 2 inch belltech shackles and it dropped it to just above level, but there is a definite difference especially when you stand right up to the back of the truck!

Are you saying you didn't get a level drop from side to side or didn't get the 2 full inches? I just got my DJM 2" shackles in but I need more time for things to settle...

I am lookin to do a 2" drop on my truck. How hard is the install adn can you do it with simple hand tools or is it more complex. Will a 2"drop hurt the stock shocks.
Thanks
