They are def. custom. Not sure I have ever seen rims like that. The more I look at the pic, the more I like them. They are growing on me as we speak. In fact...now, I think they are cool. You took a risk, and I commend you for that.

I like them. You need to paint the caliper now. I always thought th eearly wheels look better than the new 2001 style.

thanks

Thanks for the comments, I'm planning on painting the calipers and I'll try armorall on the wheel wells. I didn't like them at first but now I think they rock. I wanted something different and I guess I've got it. I Know someone will probably ask (how long did it take)? If you guys knew you'd have me commited!

They are definately different. I think they blend. What kind of paint did you use? Do you think they would look more finished if they were powder coated?

Looks like what 310motoring does to some rims.

I don't really like to judge stuff with pictures alone since things usually never look the same in a picture.

I don't think it works for those rims. I think I would like it better if the spokes didn't curl up on the edge of the rim like that. So you had a solid silver, polished metal circle and then black spokes in the middle.

Maybe if you get some more shiney metal elsewhere on your truck it would tie it together better.

I usually think most mods people do to their trucks are ugly, but I'm really digging on those. I like to see people stick to the stock style, whether 99, 01, or 03, they always look better than any aftermarket on our trucks (with a few exceptions).
Definitely different. Different is good, and things that look cool are good. That's different and cool. Good.
