I like them.

And I agree with Guapo, that the OEM rims look good, and I too prefer them over aftermarket ones.

Would be curious to see them powder coated also.

I think they look pretty good. Definately something i've never seen before. Plus I am partial to polished and black...

Thumbs up

I think they look great on a black truck. I don't think that it would turn out as good if someone tried color-matching their wheels on another color truck, like red or blue, for example. Just my 2 cents.

I like these better. Your particular paint scheme makes the wheel look to small imo.

Thumbs up thanks guys!!!

I'm glad most of you like the rims, It was a big risk but I figured if it didn't turn out well I would just paint the entire rim black. I used dupont paint, the reason there not powder coated is that the powder coating shops told me they couldn't powder coat just parts of the rim (all or nothing). Thanks for the replies.

I think that it looks great. Reminds me of some of the motorcycle rims that people do. Those look great in person. I've thought about it, then reminded myself that their are 4 rims, and a boat load of work.

BTW, these guys would never have you commited. Many of them spend countless hours shining this or that, polishing this or that. Racing this or that(oops wrong post).

Looks great, how long?

Excuse my thread-jack but could someone please photoshop a set of American Torque Thrust D wheels on a DSG L'? Similar to the dark gray center five spoke Mustang GT rims. I've always liked those wheels and think they would look slick on my DSG L'.
