Atco results

Went to Atco raceway last night which is 65 miles door to door. Put the skinnies on the front before I left and by the time I got there, it was half flat (on my brand new rims). I could hear the air coming out of it. Since nobody in the entire place had a plug or patch kit (They have a tire machine there), I had to hang out in the pits pretty much by myself, watch for when they called the lane, drive over to the air to fill the tire, make a pass, and then wait in the pits again. If I would have just waited in the lanes, the tire would have been low by the time I ran. I did that 3 times.

So I had to then drive Mike's (mrinaldi) ET Streets about half way home until I was able to stop at the NJ Turnpike service area. SO basically I had to change tires about 6 times by the time we got home from when we first got to the track.

A lot of L's down there though, at least 7 including 3 first timers. The air was ehh. Everybody we talked to said they were off about 3 tenths and a couple mph. Towards the end of the night it got cool but humid. The best I could muster was a 12.25 @111.2. When I pulled into my driveway, my truck sounded like it had a major exhaust leak and was running on 6 cyl. That sounds like a plug to me but I won't be able to check it out for awhile.

Pretty much, the night sucked, and now I see that the Metco 4# lower I just put on may not be a 4#

That sucks. What's the deal with the tires? Hope you find the source of the noise. Gimme a ring later. I'll be installing a screen door. Fun.

A quick look at the coil packs and it looks like they are all intact. Don't have time to start it up and look at it further though. 12.2 is ok, but I was looking for a 12.0 or 11.9. After reviewing my in truck videos, I saw what I did wrong or what I could improve on. Problem is now, the weather is not getting any better.
