Oh Boy! the Supercharger is in!

Hey guys!

We're finaly in the final stages of installing the Eaton Blower on my 1999 POS Crown Vic!

I'll be in Lakewood tomorrow installing the fuel pump and testing the car out... if any of the central jersey boys wanna meet up that'd be awesome.

I'm happy!

you got some of those little blower pulleys laying around?

this thing is pretty good so far, can't get any traction on stock tires, it'll never be lightning fast but good enough for a thunder...

I wouldn't even ever try it, but one thing is great on the highway:

-accelerating in the entry lane is effortless and within seconds I'm as fast or faster than the flow of traffic....

-fitting into any hole in the passing lane is a breeze no problems jumping on it and fitting into an opening again without any effort.

I have to pace myself now because most of my city driving is now in the 50 range, gotta learn to slow down!

Russ:

Have you posted full info on this somewhere else on the forums?
Don't want to clutter up the board here but I have this itch to do something more with my 92 Town Car than just the chip/filter/exhaust. Another potential sleeper, What?
Bill
OK, I found at least some stuff on the search engine.
I am not too good on non 5.4 stuff, but is this the same setup that was used on earlier T-Birds? I just don't remember which motor they supercharged, might have been just the V-6 and the Turbo 4. If it is a close to bolt on it could be interesting for sure.
