getting Roush suspension, have a few ????

I'll be ordering my Roush kit tomorrow but wanted to know a few things I couldn't get direct answers through searching previous posts. As far as bumpstops are concerned what should I do? And how about the endlinks? Has anyone purchased the kit w/out the shocks, I read where the shocks are the same length as stock and probably won't make much difference.

I think the kit includes front bump stops. I used the bumpstops from a 99 on my 2001, but if you have a 2001 or newer you can just cut them down. I don't know if the shocks are different, but I used the Roush shocks.

I've heard that it is recommended to use the custom-valved Roush shocks because of the higher rate leafs. However, I don't think it will be too bad on 01+ Bilsteins...

As for the bumpstops, why didn't you use the ones provided by Roush Easter? Any particular reason? I have an 02 and am thinking about this kit. I know with coils that drop your front above one inch, some shave off their stock bumpstops...

You will get front bumpstops with the kit. I trimmed about an inch off of my factory rear bumpstops.
I left the enlinks stock for now but I hear that people are using Energy Suspension front end links and cutting a couple of inches off of the rears.
I purchased the kit with the shocks since my 00 didn't come from the factory with the Bilsteins.

Good luck with the install

I should have been more clear in my post. I did use the bump stops which Roush provided in the front. They did not provide rear bump stops so I used the stops from a 1999 Lightning.

You can also just use the stock front bump stops on the rear.

Ayup ... I think you need two 9/16" bolts about 1 1/2 inches long
that's all ...

i was told by roush that the shocks are different. they are the same length but the valving is different. I also used the stock front bump stops and put them in the rear. no cutting involved. like svt ky stated you just need two new bolts and two new nuts.:: beers
